1 Taxi Driver 2 – Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Viki Rakuten


The first season of the revenge thriller revolves around Kim Do-gi (Lee Je-hoon), who works for a taxi company that offers a ‘revenge call’ service to its customers. Do-gi, who couldn’t exact revenge on his mother’s murderer, uses this as an opportunity to help get justice for those who have been wronged. The second season focuses on Do-gi’s coming to terms with his life after fulfilling his long-standing dream. Meanwhile, he finds his hands full with a new employee Ha Joon, who considers Do-gi as his role model. The tension and drama escalate when Ha Joon stumbles upon secrets about his employer and colleagues.

2 Unlocked – Netflix


This South Korean thriller features Im Si-wan, Chun Woo-hee, and Kim Hee-won in pivotal roles. Lee Na-mi (Woo-hee), is a young office worker. Her life is upended when she loses her phone and is stalked by a stranger, Jun-yeong (Si-wan) who picks it up and later returns it to her after installing spyware. This gives him access to Na-mi’s every move and makes her life hell. On the other hand, we have Detective Ji-man (Hee-won) going in circles while solving a murder. As he digs deeper, new bodies emerge with the evidence painting his son, Jun-yeong, as the possible culprit. The twist at the end will shock you. The movie also gives a scary glimpse into the over-reliance on technology.

3 Kill Boksoon – Netflix


The action thriller stars Jeon Do-yeon, Sul Kyung-gu, Kim Si-a, Esom, and Koo Kyo-hwan in pivotal roles. Gil Bok-soon leads a double life. She’s a mother with the secret identity of an assassin. She’s a legendary name among assassins, often referred to as ‘Kill Boksoon’ and works for MK. ENT. But, just before she renews her contract with the company, an unprecedented crisis makes her question her loyalty and life choices.

4 Island – Amazon Prime Video


Starring Cha Eun-woo, Kim Nam-gil, and Lee Da-hee, this supernatural thriller will keep you hooked with its super engaging plot. The story revolves around Won Mi-ho, who’s sent to Jeju Island to repent for her mistakes. However, her presence on the island unleashes carefully buried horrors that cause Lust Demon to go hunt her down. While in Jeju, she learns about her past life that’s related to the events that are happening now. Keeping her safe is another Lust Demon, Van, whose life is intertwined with Mi-ho’s and the loveable yet fierce Priest John. The trio team up to keep evil from taking over the world.
